Parlak Fikirler is a Turkish adaptation and translation of Eric Coble’s Bright Ideas, a parody of Macbeth. The play tells the story of a middle-class couple who will stop at nothing to get their 3-year-old son into the best kindergarten. With the provocative question, "How far would you go for your child?", Parlak Fikirler draws the audience into a darkly comic world. It marks the debut production of Bonobo Tiyatro, directed by Buket Gülbeyaz and featuring a talented cast: Ceren Taşci, Ünal Yeter, Dila Yağcı, Kiraz Tosun, and Uğur Baran. This production delves into themes of ambition, parenting, the education system, and class differences, sparking conversations that resonate beyond the stage.
